Who we are
Kalafy ("we", "us") provides AI-assisted video editing services. This policy describes how we handle personal data when you use our website and applications.
Data we collect
- Account information: email, name, and authentication identifiers from our auth provider.
- Content you upload: video files, thumbnails, and related metadata needed to process your projects.
- Usage and diagnostics: product analytics, error reports (e.g. via Sentry), and server logs for security and reliability.
- Billing: transaction references from payment providers—not full card numbers, which we do not store.
Processors and subprocessors
We rely on vetted service providers to run the product. We share data with them only as needed to provide, secure, bill, monitor, and improve Kalafy.
Our current subprocessors:
- Google (Gemini): AI models used to analyse and transform uploaded media.
- Amazon Web Services (AWS): video rendering and processing infrastructure.
- Railway: application hosting.
- Supabase: database hosting.
- Cloudflare: object storage and content delivery.
- Sentry: error monitoring.
- PostHog: product analytics.
- Razorpay: payment processing.
- Resend: transactional email delivery.
We do not sell personal data. We can provide additional vendor details for compliance, security, or enterprise review requests.
Retention and account deletion
We retain project and account data as needed to deliver the service and meet legal obligations. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data — projects, uploads, exports, and personal details — directly in the app from your account settings. Deletion removes your content from our storage; payment records are retained by our payment provider as required for accounting.
Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data. Use in-app account deletion for erasure, or contact us at support@kalafy.ai for other privacy requests.
